Vancouver’s musical force and road warriors known as The Pack A.D. have joined together with Canada’s oldest skateboard company Skull Skates to offer an all new officially licensed Pack A.D. / Skull Skates collaboration skateboard deck and t-shirt both made in Canada in very limited quantities. The Pack A.D. from Vancouver, Canada are Maya and Becky, two ripping musicians who create a force live that always inspires comments like, “All that is coming from just those two?!” The Pack A.D. craft original material and perform it live in a way that can only be achieved by extensive touring and the drive to create. Just before they head out on another tour, The Pack A.D. will be playing a special benefit show with guests Fu Kon Riots at SBC Restaurant, 109 East Hastings, Friday July 25th, 8 PM - midnight. This will also serve as an official launch of The Pack A.D. Skull Skates collab skate decks and T’s. Arrive early, limited capacity, cash bar, refreshments served.
SBC Rampsteraunt is the former home of the famous Smilin’ Buddha Cabaret, a venue with a rich and storied history. SBC boasts an indoor 65′ wide skate ramp with multiple levels featuring pool coping and metal coping. Come early to skate the ramp before the music starts. Check the SBC home page HERE. The Downtown Eastside Skateboard Society is a non profit society dedicated to providing skateboarding facilities to at risk youth. For over 35 years, the Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre has provided a safe place for women and children in the Downtown Eastside. Both above organizations will benefit with proceeds from this event. Friday July 25th, early show, 8 PM - midnight, SBC 109 East Hastings. 19+ no minors, $10 admission, limited capacity.
