A stoked customer brought another ‘Shred’ complete through the doors of PD’s Hot Shop / Skull Skates in Vancouver for a revamp. The third[!] one uncovered in the past year, the ‘Shred’, like the Skull Skates ‘Reject’ was also made by Skull Skates as the price point entry level skateboard pig shape complete with ‘Hardcore’ trucks and conical wheels for kids wanting to get into the 80s punk skate world.
The one in question here needed a complete bushing rebuild and some Bones Mini-Cubic re-issue wheels to get it shredding. Always fun to build these back to spec, complimenting the vintage Rad Pad risers, Hardcore trucks, NMB Bearings and the deck which was in pretty good shape [still having the 80s Oak Street PD's Custom Built sticker intact].
