Obsessed Custom Builds

With all the options available today, many people are able to build something they’ve always wanted, tweaking something specifically in regards to want they want to do with the bike or skateboard and how it feels when it rides. Two recent examples below:

1. Customer came in to have some parts shifted from well used Roskopp 3. The Tracker SixTrack Ultralights [with the Tracker coper system no doubt] and the Slimeballs HAD to stay in action as that’s all the customer was used to geometry-wise. The key thing though was to get the vintage trucks and wheels rolling again with new hardware, bearings, etc. and put on a contemporary Skull Skates 9″ deck. After re-drilling the deck, some major rusted hardware breaking sessions and even screw driver hammer stabbing for vice grips, etc. - the build eventually came together seamlessly. The “Bob & Doug Monorailer”.

2. Shrewgy of Ace Trucks and his custom Skull Skates 26″ BMX cruiser build. Stripped, chromed and covered with NOS parts - the Skull Cruiser is still heavily in demand with riders and collectors (especially now that they’ve been sold out for some time) and this one is a great example. Note the legend wrenching the bike - the inventor of the Certain Death - Sam Cunningham.
